Marin Bobcat Trail 13" MTB Frameset It's *ADORABLE*! for sale in Linwood, NJ
This vintage 26" steel Marin Bobcat Trail is the PERFECT bike for someone. Maybe you? Yes, the frame is 13" (center of BB to top of seat post). So it's TINY, in fact. Who would want a bike with a frame this small? Someone looking to build an off-road machine for their kid (or diminutive significant other) with a 26" wheelbase and rim brakes, because, well, nostalgia. And maybe because (like me) you have a basement full of old but still usable parts that would work well on this bike, getting it trail-worthy in no time. It's all standard stuff - cantilever brakes, 1-1/18" (oversize) headset (complete but needs a repack), sealed bottom bracket (it's present and spins but should probably be replaced). The patina on this thing is amazing, I intentionally did not wash or clean it. Rear hanger appears fine and I can't see any flaws in the frame. I checked it and everything is straight.
